In the beginning of the year 2003, some well-experienced educators of Diu district gathered and thought about opening a school in this beautiful island. The dream gave way to brainstorming of different aspects like resource planning, infrastructure, educational pedagogy, and other nitty-gritty of a school’s functioning. No stones were left unturned for this. Gradually the informal body took the shape of a formal one and got registration as a formal body under SRA of 1860 in March 2003 under the name “Galaxy Education Society,” and in the month of June 2003 the “Galaxy Educational Institute” was inaugurated and thus began our journey.
